In 2003, Akamundo independently embarked on an alternative art space project in an empty retail store window in Georgetown, Washington DC. During the course of the show several different sculptures and installations were displayed. The window space was sponsored by Eastbanc. This project represented Akamundo’s first venture into an creating an art space since graduating from the University of Toronto in 2002.
